BH Financial Planning Conference 2007
I met Sa’ada today to share (or rather..copy) notes. It happened to be that the lessons that I attended..she didn’t and vice versa. So now that lessons are over, we needed each other’s notes to complete our coursebook. :p Went to 7Eleven cause she wanted to buy the Straits Times but what caught my eye was the Berita Harian. I saw a familiar face.. it was Dr Irfan Khairi.
Let me help you with the translation. It says “Learn from the Millionaires”. I have his book. He is Malaysia’s internet expert. He invested RM$500 which is about SGD$225, and of course with some hard work, he is a millionaire today! He is coming to Singapore to give a talk during “Sidang Perancangan Kewangan Berita Harian 2007″ ( Berita Harian’s Financial Planning Conference 2007) with the theme “Think Rich, Be Rich”. Together with other successful people like Adam Khoo, Ms Christina Chia for Napoleon Hill Associates, Singapore and Mr Marc Leong for Maybank.
I personally think that it is a good move by BH to hold a conference like this so that it gives more exposure to the people and especially the Malay community that it is actually possible to make lucrative income from the internet. I am certain that there are many people who are oblivious to the fact that there are more millionaires made today, and they are getting younger, because of the internet. Let’s face it. The internet will be an integral part of our lives in the near future. Basic chores like checking your bank balance can easily be done through the internet today and even buying airline tickets is done through the internet. People need to be aware of this and move with the flow. If they are resistant to change, they will get left behind.
