Crossroads
The past week or so has been a challenge in many ways than 1. I’ll tell you that. Firstly, I’m physically drained because my family and I just made our move to JB. We only had 5 days notice from HDB to get our butts outta there. (Unbelievable? Believe it! ) Never-ending pack pack pack after work. I think I just built some muscles
Along the way
And then…. Drama happened. To keep the story short – disappointment. Then, first thing monday morning on our first trip to work, our back tyre went flat. We thought we could just make it through the jam with is cause Taufiq had to be at work really early that morning. Somehow, halfway though, the sound of the flat tyre and the rim against the road was just too uncomfortable so decided to make a u-turn to be on the other side of the road where it isn’t too busy. Just as we were about to change lanes, this lorry beside us probably didn’t see our car and scrapped our bumper with a deep dent and ripped it out of its hooks. So it was kindda half dangling. All I can say is that its just a test from the one above - when everything happens for a reason.
I could feel my anxiety level skyrocket. …… All of us were just too caught up in the moment of our car being scratched that we didnt bother about the lorry driver. He didnt even bother to offer help or anything.. #$@%&. Abah couldnt help cause his back was giving him problems. So we had Taufiq change the tyres.. guess what? The spare was flat too… aaaahhhhh!!! Finally, called AA for them to tow the car to Singapore – even then there’s another story about AA and their terms/conditions. I shall not go there.
a few hours and some iced milo later, we got the tyres changed and hopefully continue the day without any glitches.
I need a spa massage.
