Nurashikin’s weblog

From my point of view

I hope you dance

I hope you never lose your sense of wonder

You get your fill to eat, but always keep that hunger

May you never take one single breath for granted

God forbid love ever leave you empty handed

I hope you still feel small when you stand by the ocean

Whenever one door closes, I hope one more opens

Promise me you’ll give faith a fighting chance

And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance, I hope you dance

I hope you never fear those mountains in the distance

Never settle for the path of least resistance

Living might mean taking chances, but they’re worth taking

Lovin’ might be a mistake, but it’s worth making

Don’t let some hell bent heart leave you bitter

When you come close to selling out, Reconsider

Give the heavens above more than just a passing glance

Long weekend

I’m having a long weekend right now because of Good Friday. There won’t be another public holiday anytime soon…. (the next one’s in May) Well, glad that I managed to get some stuff done. Friday, continue packing. Was supposed to meet Bernice and Kitt to Sentosa..but was feeling a lil too lazy. Wanted to sleep in on what’s suppose to be a working day. haha. Then, family and I headed to JB for dinner. Surprisingly, it was TOTALLY empty!! Really, no kidding. With all the hype about the causeway will be congested because of the long weekend, it was dead quiet last nite….well, not until we wanted to head home. haha. the jam going out of JB was the longgggest i’ve seen in awhile. We were stuck for about an hour.

Today, went to meet a friend as she was introducing me to unit trust investment. All you people reading this should take a look at it. If you’re worried that you’re going to have to come up with cash to invest….fret not. It’s investment based on your CPF account. So, in short, its about investing your CPF savings to increase it for future use like maybe buying your house. Very beneficial for young people…but others can also benefit cause then you can have more money to withdraw when your 62.

Anyway, getting a little worried about my trip cause flights are running low and prices are going up and we still can’t find an airline with reasonable price with seats!!! Also, I haven’t really planned about where I’m going to go when we split ways.

Anyone can show me around LA and Chicago??

You must be blind

On Sunday, family and I headed down to JB again for brunch and window shopping of furniture and what nots for the new home. After lunch, we went to Plaza Angsana cause mum said they had some furniture store there… I was kindda sleepy so was practically only my legs were moving, upper body was just on “stand-by”. hah. THEN!! while waiting for my brother in front of this optical shop… this idiot-with-a-trolley made a quick left turn and ran over the little toes on my right foot with it…!!! and mind you, the damn trolley was filled with his stuff. I was just in utter shock! Now that woke me up… and all he could do was look at me and muttered..”Sorry”. grrrr… Luckily, it was my right foot and not my left cause I was wearing my crocs shoe and there is a daisy “button” on it. That could really hurt. It’s impossible that he didnt see me…. the place was empty!

Sleepy Saturday

Made a bad judgement call last night when I decided to sleep at 4am. grrr… I was just up and about planning for my trip that I didn’t feel tired enough to rest. Was searching all the flight details from here to there and there to here that by the time I was done, it’s already 3am. AND THENNNN… I found out about this wordpress thingy.. so that kept me up for another hour or so. Come 8 am, my head was spinning. urghh. But, got up anyway to meet Bibik, Kak Nura, Matin and Widya for breakfast in JB.

The traffic jam wasn’t as bad as I would have expected it to be but bearable.  Had breakfast at Larkin. After that we decided to brunch at Mawar for goreng pisang..but they were closed. So we tried the one at Tebrau.. guess what? Closed. Finally, drove all the way to Perling to get goreng pisang. haha. Soon after, settling for lunch at Aunty Agnees. As you would soon discover, trips to JB is always, always about food. haha.

So, now i’m back home. Wanting to sleep but somehow…. still online in search of the best deals!! hehe.

It’s been awhile that I’ve updated my blog.
Well, apart from packing up my room for the move to JB soon, I think it’s just been work and home for me. Have not been out much the past week.. ooh, except for last Friday..met up with Saada, Naf and Fairuz at Taka for dinner at Breeks.. Not surprisingly the conversation topic was about Mas Selamat. I believe every Singaporean is just wondering what ever happened on that fateful 27 February 2008 at 4.05pm. Now, the name “Mas Selamat Kastari” is on the lips of most, if not all, Singaporeans and also our neighbours Malaysia and Indonesia. Was telling them about that chain sms about the latest update on Mas Selamat. It cracked me up when I first got it. It was an announcement that Mas Selamat has escaped to Malaysia and the Malaysians are putting up signs saying “Selamat Datang”. (direct translation – Selamat came / or in its original meaning – Welcome)

Last Tuesday, I went to the doctor again to get my second jab for my keloid. I must say that Dr Heng is really good. It was actually painless.. serious! And of course he used the “baby” needle for me again.. So hopefully by the 3rd time, it’ll significantly shrink to an unnoticeable size. *hopeful*

After the doctor, went to fetch mum and dad from home to go JB . This is my first time to JB after the Mas Selamat escape..Security was pretty tight. They’ve got police officers checking the boot BEFORE immigration.. Motorcycle queue was just snaking to the BKE.. men have to scan for their thumbprint.. urrghh. I hope this incident would not be a hindrance to my move to JB soon. Oh ya, I’ve never seen that many coast guards on duty at the same time. there were like 5 or 6 that day.

Well, its 2.08am (Singapore time) now. Meeting Bibik, Kak Nura and Matin for breakfast in JB tomorrow morning. (IF you’re reading this, please read my previous comment about going to the states :p)

Step by step guide – Egoldfastcash.com

Here’s a step by step guide to sign up for egoldfastcash!!

First, you need to understand that the there are basically 3 websites that is involved in this signup process.

1) www.e-gold.com – as this program chooses e-gold as its currency of choice, all transactions are done via e-gold. Basically, you are exchanging money for a certain weight of gold, which you will then use to pay other people. There are no admin fees to open an e-gold account. Head on to the website to open an account. Your e-gold account number can be shown or displayed anywhere, however, DO NOT let anyone know your e-gold passphrase. (It’s the same way you don’t tell other people your ATM pin number, right?!)

2) Next, you will need to find a local exchanger that will exchange your money to e-gold. If you are in Singapore, you can head down to www.snapgold.com. I’ve been using them and I highly recommend it. Their service is superb. Alternatively, if you are in another country, just go to Google.com and in the search bar type – “egold exchanger (your country)”.

Once you’re at the site, select “buy egold” and then follow the steps. For Singapore, you’ll basically need to transfer USD$10 (approx. SGD$14) to snapgold.com and they’ll deposit USD$10 worth of e-gold to your egold account that you opened in step 1. snapgold will then send you an email asking you to so certain steps to verify that you are the person making the exchange. You will know that egold has been deposited when they’ve sent you a confirmation email.

3) Finally, you go to www.egoldfastcash.com/id/shikinese.php to sign up. This is where the system is for you to make your first million. After you’ve signed up, you’ll see in the member page that says your membership is “pending”, that cause you’ll need to pay your sponsors (don’t worry thats the USD10 that you’ve exchanged). If you scroll down a little at the member page, you’ll see 9 names with a tab saying “Pay Now”. Click on that and follow the instructions. Once you’ve completed all 9 names plus admin fee, you done! Simple! You can start promoting your website now.

SO, in short, you’ll need to open an egold account, then exchange your money to e-gold and then sign up at egoldfastcash.com

Just email me at shikinese@gmail.com if you need any assistance.
