Survivor mode

Lesson learnt today really shows that when you are desperate and the “survivor” mode kicks in, your brain works in such a devious way. Well, I had forgotten to bring my wallet and I had just stuffed my ezlink in my bag. However, it was pay day so I figured that I will be able to draw the money and use it. BUT……. as fate would have it, I arrived at the train station with my ezlink below zero value and not a cent on me. All I had was my mobile and a cheque! Grrr… So, called mum and she couldnt help cause she was at home. Called dad and still couldnt figure what to do.. .So, while talking on the phone, I realized that the gantry for the handicapped and those carrying bulky items, closes very slowly. So, with swoop, I took out my zero value ezlink card and pretended to tap. – wala! I’m in.

- Adrenaline rush!

Now.. how do I get out? – I guess the same way I got in.
I arrived at Toa Payoh and saw a few people heading towards the gantry and so I did my same magic and got outta there! hehehe

Lets hope I don’t get caught on camera.

Fireworks Festival 2007

Its been really rainy lately. Every duck’s favourite time of year. Doesn’t matter really cause I like it.

I’m in the office alone. Everyone is out of town. So, I’m mending the office for a few days. I’m feeling a little freaked out really.. I think its my mind playing games. So to keep the freakiness out, I’m playing “There you’ll be” – Faith Hill. At least it kills the silence. Boo!

Well, 2 weeks ago, my friends and I caught the fireworks festival at the Esplanade. We were lucky that we got there early and managed to get a good spot to sit while waiting for the fireworks to start. I must say it was waaay better than the National Day fireworks. THAT one was an endless battle to beat the police before the cordoned off some areas… grrr!

Anyway, while waiting, we saw the epitome of love. haha well, not really but it was a perfect picture to send it to ” Stories of Love” . Don’t you think? ( hMM…it looked better in real life )

Start of Something New

I’M BACK!

Hey everyone.. Its the start of something new for me. If you’ve been reading my blog, you’ll know that I have been talking and fussing about my final year project. Guess what?! Its finally over and done with! Yes, today is the deadline. It’s on its way to the good hands of my lecturer to read.

Well, there’s so many things to update about! Its getting exciting.
